Over 180 students participated in the SCMTA State Pre-College Piano Auditions, April 25, at the USC School of Music in Columbia. These students had all received “Outstanding” ratings in the District Auditions this spring.
Each adjudicator selected one student to perform on the Honors Recital, as well as first and second alternates and honorable mentions. The Honors Recital will take place Saturday, May 16, 4:00 pm, at the USC School of Music.
Sixty-eight teachers throughout the state entered a total of 362 students in the Pre-College Auditions.
