SCMTA is launching a new program this year called the "SCMTA Piano Skills Festival". The Piano Skills Festival is a non-competitive, adjudicated event that promotes LIFE-LONG MUSICIANSHIP! With audition components that include keyboard technique, theory, and musicianship skills, the Festival

State Auditions, for students scoring "Outstanding" at District Auditions, will be held April 26, 2025, at USC Columbia School of Music. Teachers who enter students should plan to assist with the auditions that day. All registrations must be completed on-line.

The State Honors Recital will take place May 10, at 4:00 pm at the USC School of Music.

The SCMTA 65th Annual Conference and SC MTNA Competitions will take place from November 6 to November 8, 2025, at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC. Detailed information will be forthcoming.
