1. Students/Parents will record a separate video for each audition piece. Videos may be recorded on any device.
  2. Theory/technique requirements are waived for online auditions.
  3. The camera should allow for a full view of the student at the instrument. Please consider the visual aspects of posture, technique, and pedaling that would be helpful for judges to be able to see.
  4. Each video must be made in a full take from a single camera angle. Video/audio editing Is not allowed.
  5. Vocalists/Instrumentalists who are unable to provide a live accompanist due to virus concerns may use pre-recorded accompaniment.
  6. Entrants must have a YouTube account to participate. Students/Parents will upload videos to YouTube (unlisted videos preferred). Teachers should NOT use their personal YouTube accounts for student performers, unless a generic account is created that does not have any personal identifying information of the teacher or studio. Videos should be titled with the composition title and composer (Example: Toccata and Fugue in D minor, Bach). Links of each video should be sent to the teacher for the registration form.
  7. Teachers will include links to each student’s repertoire pieces on the registration form at the time of registration.
  8. Videos must have been made during the 2021-2022 school year (no videos made prior to Aug. 1, 2021 will be accepted).
