The SCMTA State Pre-College Auditions were held April 27 at the USC School of Music in Columbia. with 198 students from 44 teachers’ studios playing.
Students who received a rating of Outstanding in the District Auditions were eligible to perform in the State Auditions. Statewide, 160 students representing 41 teachers participated.
The State Honors Recital will take place May 11, at 4:00 pm at the USC School of Music.
